The Electric Flag was started by Michael Bloomfield in 1967. This shot of band members Harvey Brooks, Herbie Rich, Mike Bloomfield, Buddy Miles, Peter Strazza, Barry Goldberg, Nick Gravenites, and Marcus Doubleday was taken in Sausalitio for the back of their first album cover for Columbia Records, 1968.
